How it works
A referral service for IBC totes.
RE:IBC Totes matches people who want to buy, sell or recycle intermediate bulk containers with partner suppliers in our network. You send one request; a supplier who handles that kind of request follows up with a quote.
The short answer
RE:IBC Totes is a referral service. Quotes are fulfilled by partner suppliers in our network. Requests come from across the United States; availability depends on partner suppliers.
The process
What happens to your request.
There are no accounts and no catalogue checkout. A request is a short form, and the rest happens between you and a partner supplier.
- 01
You describe the totes
Buy, sell or recycle; size and count; grade or prior contents; your ZIP code and timing.
- 02
We pass it on
The request goes to a partner supplier in our network that handles that kind of request in your area.
- 03
A supplier follows up
The supplier contacts you with availability, condition details and a quote, including pickup or delivery where they offer it.
- 04
You agree terms with them
If you go ahead, the sale, purchase or recycling is between you and the supplier, on the supplier's terms.
Grades
What tote grades usually mean.
There is no single industry grading standard, so suppliers describe condition in their own words. These are the common terms. Ask the supplier how they define the grade in your quote.
| Term | What it usually means |
|---|---|
| Rebottled | A new HDPE bottle fitted into a used cage and pallet base. |
| Reconditioned / washed | The original bottle, cleaned and inspected, often with a new valve and gaskets. |
| Grade A | Clean bottle, straight cage, sound pallet, minimal staining. |
| Grade B | Usable, with cosmetic staining or minor cage wear. |
| Grade C / as-is | Worn or stained units suited to non-critical uses, or to recycling. |
| New | A tote that has not been used before. |
What we are not
Plain answers about the service.
About the service
Is RE:IBC Totes a supplier?
No. RE:IBC Totes is a referral service. Quotes are fulfilled by partner suppliers in our network. We don't own a yard, a wash line, trucks or inventory, and we don't grade or test totes ourselves.
Who sets the price?
The partner supplier who quotes your request. Prices, delivery, pickup, payment terms, warranties and returns are agreed between you and that supplier.
Does a request cost anything?
No. The quote request is free and there is no obligation to accept a quote.
Where do you take requests from?
Requests come from across the United States. Availability depends on partner suppliers, so some requests, especially small or remote ones, may not get a quote.
How do I contact you?
Use the quote form on any page. It is the only contact route for this site.
